1. Core Definition

The Key is an object, pattern, code, token, or credential that grants access through a locked boundary.

Symbolically, it represents access, unlocking, permission, authorization, hidden passage, threshold crossing, constraint release, secret knowledge, and the responsibility that comes with entry. A Key does not merely open. It validates a relationship between holder, lock, gate, timing, and domain.
